Although Shahidova Arabians is a small and not well-known entity, I have been raising and breeding fine Arabian horses—with
emphasis on Straight Egyptian Arabian horses—since 1982 and I am proud to be a member of the AHA Discovery Farm program.
The farm name literally means "Daughters of Shahid" and is meant as a dedication to the "matriarch"
of my program, FALEENA SHAHIDOVA. Faleena left us in 2002, but this grand, big-hearted old lady will never be
forgotten! She is well represented not only in my program but all over the USA, including Alaska. Her grandson Shahmis was
a Top 5 in the 2003 Half-Arabian Halter Futurity at Region 5.
"Doing what you love is freedom.
Loving what
you do is happiness."
Shahidova Arabians is dedicated to doing its best to preserve the true desert "Al Khamsa" horse and the unique
qualities that exist in this endangered group. In achieving this goal, I use:

 |
|
FALCONTEP (Abenhetep x BA Quintessence)
|
|
-
Proven Arabian stallions with impeccable, champion pedigrees containing
horses selected over years of careful breeding.
-
Arabian mares that consistently produce balanced, correct and quality foals
with the beauty and temperament truly worthy of the ideals for which Al Khamsa and the Arabian horse stands.
For many years I have owned or leased some wonderful Arabian stallions and mares, but in 1999 I was offered the chance
to purchase the remaining horse in the BackAcres breeding program and I was thrilled and honored to bring home FALCONTEP. Although Falcontep has gone on to "greener pastures" I have the wonderful legacy of his
young son Prince Imatep Too.
"Happiness depends on the
quality of
your thoughts."
